Traditional Beef Stew 🥩🍲

Slow-cooked to perfection, this beef stew is rich, flavorful, and packed with tender beef and vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into cubes
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, cubed
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup red wine (optional)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Toss beef cubes with flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a large pot and brown the beef on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté onions, carrots, and potatoes until softened.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, then add beef broth and red wine.
  5. Return beef to the pot, add thyme and rosemary, and bring to a boil.
  6. Cover and simmer on low for 2-3 hours until beef is tender.

🍞 Best Served With: Warm crusty bread to soak up the rich, savory broth!
