Traditional Beef Stew 🥩🍲
Slow-cooked to perfection, this beef stew is rich, flavorful, and packed with tender beef and vegetables.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into cubes
- 3 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, cubed
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 cup red wine (optional)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp rosemary
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Toss beef cubes with flour, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a large pot and brown the beef on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté onions, carrots, and potatoes until softened.
- Stir in tomato paste, then add beef broth and red wine.
- Return beef to the pot, add thyme and rosemary, and bring to a boil.
- Cover and simmer on low for 2-3 hours until beef is tender.
🍞 Best Served With: Warm crusty bread to soak up the rich, savory broth!
