Homemade Chinese Sesame Chicken π―π
Golden, crispy chicken coated in a sweet, sticky sesame sauce!
π Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless chicken (cubed)
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
π¨βπ³ Instructions:
- Coat chicken in cornstarch, dip in egg, and fry until crispy.
- In a saucepan, mix honey, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Add cornstarch slurry to thicken.
- Toss fried chicken in the sauce, sprinkle sesame seeds, and serve.
π‘ Tip: Add steamed broccoli for extra texture!
