Classic Baked Mac & Cheese 🧀🍽️

A creamy, cheesy, baked delight with a crunchy golden topping—this mac & cheese is the ultimate comfort food!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions, then drain.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour until smooth.
  4. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese, mustard powder, and salt.
  6. Mix cheese sauce with cooked macaroni and pour into a baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
