Homemade Chicken Pot Pie šŸ„§šŸ”

A golden, flaky crust filled with creamy chicken and vegetablesā€”nothing says comfort like a homemade chicken pot pie!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust (or homemade)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400Ā°F.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour. Cook for 1 minute.
  3. Slowly add chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
  4. Add cooked chicken, carrots, peas, celery, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  5. Pour mixture into a pie dish and cover with pie crust, sealing the edges.
  6. Cut slits on top and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
